How to find us

We are situated 80 minutes from Glasgow International Airport and a 2.5 hour drive from Edinburgh.

COMING FROM THE SOUTH 

• Take the A82 which runs alongside Loch Lomond to Tarbet

• At Tarbet, bear left and drive through Arrochar on the A83 to Rest and Be Thankful

• Turn left, B828, signposted Lochgoilhead / Drimsynie Holiday Village 

• At the next junction bear left for Lochgoilhead / Drimsynie Holiday Village

• Take a right, following signs for Carrick Castle, just before the humpback bridge which takes you into Lochgoilhead. 

• Follow the road, with Drimsynie Holiday Village on your right and the waters of the loch on your left.

• Continue up the hill beyond the Holiday Village and bear left. 

• Follow this road for approx 5 miles passing the Ardroy Education Centre, the MOD, Loch Goil Cruisers and the Boat Shed Cafe

• At the sign for Carrick Castle (on your left), Rowan House is the blue house immediately on your right. There is ample parking.

COMING FROM THE NORTH

• A85 on to the A819

• At Inverary turn left to the Old Military Road (A83) through Cairndow

• Turn right on to A815

• Take a left on to the B839 signposted Lochgoilhead / Drimsynie Hotel and Holiday Village

• Continue towards Lochgoilhead through Hell's Glen

• Just before the bridge into Lochgoilhead, take a right following signs to Carrick Castle

• Follow the road, with Drimsynie Holiday Village on your right and the waters of the loch on your left.

• Continue up the hill beyond the Holiday Village and bear left.
